1 week countdown

In one week from today my Dad and I will be on a plane to South Africa.  So many emotions are swirling through my mind as I prepare to be a mother.  The last few weeks have been busy with preparations - booking plane tickets, hotels, rental cars, filling prescriptions for malaria medicine, arranging details at work, and child-proofing my house.  In all the busyness it is hard to process that this adorable little girl named Miranda is about to become my child.
